The SSEA electro-magnetic water meter EWM has 304 stainless steel sensors, waterproof anti-electo-magnetic interference and can be used for polluted and corrosive media. With the hygienic rubber lining it can be installed in drinking water pipelines. The lithium-ion battery gives a service time of 5 years+ and reduces risks of lighning strikes and external power disturbances.  

Compared to mechanical Flowmeters it has no mechanical parts, no obstructions and very low pressure loss. It requires a lower straight pipe section (5D front, 3D back) and has a higher tolerance for low water quality. The higher flow range gives much more accurate reading for low night flow and daytime peak flow.
