Many manufacturers recommend Coriolis Mass Flow Meters for density and concentration measurement.

In comparison with Bopp & Reuther DIMF density meters (tuning fork principle) the branded Coriolis devices show several disadvantages:

• lower accuracy and repeatibility
• slower stability with temperature changes
• calibration usually for max. flow accuracy (vs density optimization)
• expensive for big pipe sizes and aggressive chemical applications

Pressure Measurement in highly corrosive chemical environments require special protective measures. Crystallizing or highly viscous process media and high safety applications require special diaphragm seals. But for many aggressive and corrosive chemical applications we now offer our SRU 25 pressure gauges with high grade non-ferrous materials for the wetted parts (socket, bourdon) which are in contact with the process media.

• MONEL: gaseous and liquid aggressive media
• HASTELLOY: highly resistance corrosion alloy for crevice, pitting and stress corrosion
• INCONEL: for high temperature corrosion resistance

For highly corrosive environments we offer phenolic cases to protect the pressure gauges from the outside.

The SSEA Electro-Magnetic Watermeter for large scale water metering systems and water leakage detection. The high range ratio (R250, R400) ensures high precision measurement of low flow (5mm/sec) at night and large flow at peak hours.

The classic compact orifice model Oriflow O measures hydrogen chloride gas, (HCl) from dry up to 100% humidity or similar highly corrosive liquids.

The orifice is made of PVDF, which ensures high corrosion resistance.The diaphragm, connecting to the DP transmitter is made of tantalum with inert filling.

The SRU25X lightweight, stainless steel pressure gauge with heavy duty mini diaphragm seal is the ideal choice for

• corrosive, viscous, sedimentous process media
• with a high temperature

The diaphragm is AISI 316L welded to the body to ensure separation of the filling fluid from the process medium.

The Ensim Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter accurately measures liquids and solids in harsh environments, (e.g. boiling liquids, dust, foam, vapor) by a low energy electromagnetic pulse guided along a probe. The measurement is not affectd by changes of viscosity, density or acidity.

Radar Level Sensors are excellent devices for no contact level measurement. The Ensim ELW radar series has an integrated management system filtering false echos, demodulation technology, Aluminium housing, alphanumeric display with HART output for tank level measurement up to 70 m and 250°C temp. for liquids, corrosive media and solids.
